Marsèlleria hosts a show dedicated to a selection of art posters, dating back to the period 1962 - 1974, coming from the most important European and American art galleries.

The exhibition title “900 – 815, 85 – 40, 1962 – 1974” refers to the history of this special collection. It has initially been built by collector Luca Crippa (1922-2002), coming to the great number of 900 specimen, and has then been discovered and brought to light by Luciano Zagari, who selected 85 posters to print a catalogue. The book is focused on a particular historical period, the one of the ‘60s and ’70s, and on some specific figures such as De Dominicis, Boetti, Judd, Andre, Christo, Lo Savio, Buren, Pistoletto… These are images building a precise path among the avant-gardes: Minimal Art, Conceptual Art, Arte povera, Land Art.

Daniele Innamorato, artist, collector and art books enthusiast, offers for the first time, in the spaces of Marsèlleria, an exhibition path dedicated to the images of this universe and of a particular time in art history, also made up of legendary places such as Galleria La Salita, Sperone, Dawn Gallery, Leo Castelli Gallery… Accompanying the show, a series of rare and important artists books is to be found.

On the occasion of the opening, the show hosts an happening for the launch of a present time artist poster, the one realized by Luca Vitone E IL TOPO: with the title “Autoritratto”, this is Red letter Edition Issue #5 of the artist run magazine.

Opening hours: 21 - 22 December, 10 am - 1 pm e 2 - 6 pm
From 2 January to 16 March by appointment only
