Marsèlleria, in collaboration with FANTOM, invites Raed Yassin (Beirut, 1979) to enact, for the first time in Italy, The Impossible Works of Raed Yassin and Solo Double Bass; the two performances will take place on the 10th and 11th of June, in the venue located in via Paullo 12/A a Milano.
Wednesday, June 10 (6.30-9 pm) Yassin will present the ongoing performance The Impossible Works of Raed Yassin, on this occasion involving the curators Ilaria Bonacossa, Eva Fabbris and Francesco Garutti.
The Impossible Works of Raed Yassin investigates ways of conversation between artist and curator and explores the potential of this collaboration, using speech as a medium to produce “impossible” works. By turning the roles upside down, the performance also involves the audience in a game of imagination and persuasion.
Thursday, June 11 (8 - 9 pm) the sound performance Solo Double Bass will present the public with the musical side of Raed Yassin's work.
